GunGame5 Pre-Released!

From the Mattie forums and the new GunGame5 website:

Today, the GunGame5 Development Team has officially pre-released GunGame5 to select Game Server Providers:

* Counter-Strike.com
* Quantum Servers
* Nuclear Fallout
* Nuke Servers
* Leet Servers
* Ultimate GameServers
* Webkillers
* GameServers
* Blood Servers
* Sponsored Gaming
* Art of War Central
* Detox Servers
* Velocity Servers

What does this mean? It means that GunGame5 will soon be available to any of the above game server clients! If you are their customer, you will have access to GunGame5. If you have an e-mail for a GSP (Game Server Provider) that you would like us to contact for the pre-release, feel free to share it here. Keep in mind, we have offered the pre-release to the above-mentioned GSP's...this does not necessarily mean that they will have it immediately available.

GunGame5 is the latest and greatest version of GunGame. GunGame5 not only boasts extensive speed improvements, but mind-blowing customization opportunities!

We would also like to proudly announce a new website and logo (click on the image):

The new website is designed specifically for GunGame, and will soon host screencasts, tutorials, FAQs, and more! This will be the one stop shop for all that is GunGame.

Stay tuned for the "official" release of GunGame5.

    Is there any server currently using this "new" GunGame plug-in? I would like to test it so if you run or know any one that runs a server with it please send me the IP.

    Do a search for servers with GG5 or gungame5 in name, should be a good amount by now. Here is a GG5 server: 74.86.176.11:27015

    There are servers running the beta version already. You can find them here. It seems to run fairly well, I just downloaded the latest release, and once I look through it tonight I will load it up on my computer, and if no problems, I will finally be upgrading my clans GunGame server from version 3 to version 5. Unfortunately if estools is required we may not upgrade, because estools rapes servers.

    I got several gameservers.com server but i cant find any installation for GG5/GG:P there :S

    It may be because installing Eventscripts 2, which GunGame 5 requires, must be done manually on their servers due to a known issue with their file structure.

    There are no plugins required to run GunGame5.

    However, if you wish to use ggdeathmatch or ggelimination you will need to respawn players. You can do this with ggutils (a simple respawn plugin available to download that is probably the safest for your server), estools, sourcemod, or any plugin with a respawn command that you desire.
